Reference Schedule Activities in Submittals

If you are connecting to a P6 EPPM schedule, you can reference and/or update the activities associated with your submittals. You can connect to an existing project created in P6 EPPM by using the Schedule tab in the Project Settings Dialog Box.

To record scheduling information in a submittal:

  1. In the Project View, expand the project you are working in.
  2. Expand the Logs folder and click Submittals.
  3. Open the submittal document that you want to update.
  4. Click the Schedule tab.
  5. Click browse next to the Activity ID field to open the Select Activity Dialog Box. This does not display unless you are connected to a P6 EPPM schedule.
  6. To view detailed information about the selected schedule activities for the submittal, click Schedule to open the Schedule Dialog Box for each activity.
  7. Click Save.

    Note: You can also review the log of all activities and milestones in the linked schedule by clicking Schedule Data Log Window in the Project Information folder.
