Previous TopicNext TopicContents

To define a filter for a Timestamp field:

  1. From a log window, select Customize Layouts from the Layout drop-down menu. This displays the Customize Layouts Dialog Box.
  2. Click filter.
  3. In the Filter Dialog Box, click Add to open the New Filter Dialog Box.
  4. In the Title field, enter a title for the new filter.
  5. Click Add to add a new filter row.
  6. For the new filter row:
    1. From the Field drop-down list, select Last Edit Date.
    2. From the Condition drop-down list, select Greater Than or Equal to.
    3. From the Value field, click Select Field Value and choose a date. The application will return all the records which were edited after this date.
  7. Click Save and Return to Filter List.
  8. Click Return to Menu.

The filter can now be used.

Note: If you need to create filters that contain dynamic dates, such as a filter that will always show you documents that have been created today, you will need to use the Filter Dialog Box (Advanced). The SQL code required for this differs for Oracle.
