Use this dialog box to create a set of basic expressions to make up one filter. The ability to use more than one expression in a filter increases your control over the final results.
Title
The name of the item.
Add
Click to insert a new filter row below the selected row.
Organize Rows
Click this to open the Organize Rows Dialog Box to set the order of the sorting rows.
Verify
Click to verify that all filter rows are valid expressions.
Field
Select a field from the drop-down list to use for the filter expression.
Condition
Select a condition from the drop-down list. See Filter Conditions for an explanation of available operators.
Value
Type the value to which the condition should compare the Field value.
Select
Click to open the Select Field Value dialog box to choose a dictionary item to apply to a custom field. Select only appears if the custom field has dictionary items.
Logic
Select a logic function from the drop-down list if you want the filter to coordinate this row with other rows in the filter.
Field Type
The Field parameter's type.
Delete
Click to delete a row.
Advanced Filter
You should only use if you know and understand SQL syntax, which you will use to build and edit the filter manually. Click to open the Advanced Filter dialog box. If you click Advanced Filter and click Yes to confirm that you want to use an advanced filter, you will be unable to change back to the standard filter.
