Generate a Drawing Set from an Existing Drawing Set

To generate a drawing set from an existing one:

1. Expand the Logs folder in the Project View and click Drawing Sets to open the Drawing Sets Log Window.
2. Open the Drawing Sets document from which you want to generate a new drawing set.
3. Choose Generate Document from the Select an action drop-down list to open the Generate Drawing Set Wizard.
4. Enter the Name and Title for the drawing set.
5. Click the calendar icon, and choose a date for the set you want to generate.
6. Choose Yes if you want to copy the latest drawing revisions into the set. Choosing Yes automatically sets the next option to No.
7. Choose Yes if you want to copy the drawing revisions from the original set into the new set. Choosing Yes automatically sets the previous option to No.
8. Choose Yes if you want to link the new drawings to the same issues as the original drawing.
9. Choose Yes if you want to link the new drawings to the same attachments as the original drawing.
10. Click Save. Contract Management generates the drawing set and populates the new document with the appropriate information.
11. If necessary, edit the generated drawing set document in the Drawing Set Document Window.
