This dialog box lists the reason codes in the reasons dictionary. You can use the reasons for filtering, grouping, and sorting.

Add

Click to open the Reason Code Detail Dialog Box to Define Change Management Reason Codes.

Organize Rows

Click this to open the Organize Rows Dialog Box, in which you can set the order in which the codes appear in status drop-down lists.

Reason Code

The abbreviation of the reason code.

Enter up to 12 characters for the reason code.

Title

A descriptive title of the reason code.

Enter up to 23 characters for the title.

Note: Contract Management uses reason codes defined here in all projects in the project database.

How to access this dialog box:

Right-click on the top-level folder (All Projects), choose Dictionaries, Reason Codes.
