Use this dialog box to create new reason codes. You can then use the reasons for filtering, grouping, and sorting.

Reason Code

The abbreviation of the reason code.

Enter up to 12 characters for the reason code.

Title

A descriptive title of the reason code.

Enter up to 23 characters for the title.

Move Below

From the drop-down list, choose the location below which you want to insert the new definition.

Note: Contract Management uses reason codes defined here in all projects in the project database.

How to access this dialog box:

1. Right-click on the top-level folder (All Projects), choose Dictionaries, Reason Codes.
2. Click Add on the Reason Code Dialog Box.
