Project View Drop-Down Menu Overview

The Project View drop-down menu contains a list of all project views. This is located in the upper left corner of the Workspace. Contract Management allows you to set up your projects in various views to best suit your needs. For example, you can create a view based on geography, such as North America and Europe, and then arrange your folders and projects accordingly. See the Geographic Organization view for an example of this. Or you can create a view based on roles, such as construction manager, general contractor, owner, and so forth. See the Roles view for an example of this. Once you create a view in the New View Dialog Box, you can arrange the view any way you want.

Use the Project View drop-down menu to perform administrative functions such as creating, modifying, transferring, or deleting views. You can also configure which folder views are in and how to display project names.

Note: You can place the same projects in multiple views. If you make a change to a project in one view, it affects all views, as the information is saved to the database.
