Use this dialog box to select a company to add as a bidder for a procurement item, or to add a new company to the Company Directory. This feature enables you to add a company as needed in the Contract Management module without having to go to the Company Directory log window.

Notes:

• You must have Add and Edit access rights for the Company Directory module to use the add a company on the fly feature.
• You cannot add a new company or select a project if you accessed this dialog box from the Award Contract/PO dialog box.

Project

Choose the project or database (GROUP) from which to add the bidding company. The companies from the selected project that are not already listed in the current project appear in the list. Choose the company to add it to the current project.

Note: You must have Add and Edit rights in the current Project for the project drop-down to appear.

Search

Use this field to search for an item.

Add Company

Click to add a new company to the Company Directory.

Add Company appears if you chose to organize by company. You must have Add and Edit access rights for the Company Directory module to use this feature.

Companies

This list displays all available companies that you can choose from. Click the first letter of a particular company to go directly to that company. Click Select next to the name to choose the company. The dialog box closes automatically and inserts the company in the field.

Cancel

Click to cancel without saving any changes.

How to access this dialog box:

Do one of the following to access the Select Bidder dialog box:

• Click Select Bidder next to the Bidder field in the Add Bidder Dialog Box.
• Click Select Bidder next to the Award To field in the Award Contract/PO Dialog Box.
• Click Select Bidder from the Record Bid Dialog Box.
