Cost Worksheet Dialog Box (for Adding a Cost Code)


Use this dialog box to Add a Cost Code to the Cost Worksheet.

Spelling

Click to spell check the information.

If a mistake is found, the Spelling dialog box opens.

Cost Code

The cost code name.

Cost codes categorize the different types of work associated with a project. Each cost code can contain up to 30 alphanumeric characters. Click to open the Cost Worksheet Document Window in View mode.

Note: If you have administrator rights, you can edit the cost codes.

Title

The name of the item.

Order Code

Use this field to vary the sort order of your worksheet from the cost code order.

Planned to Commit ($)

Enter the amount that is planned for this cost code.

Description

A brief description of the item or service.

How to access this dialog box:

  1. Expand the Contract Information folder in the Project View and click Cost Worksheet.
  2. Click Add Cost Code on the Cost Worksheet Log Window.
