Set User Password Parameters

To set user password parameters:

  1. Log in to the Contract Management Administration Application.
  2. Click User Password Settings to open the User Password Settings window.
  3. In the General section:
    1. Select the appropriate options.
    2. If you select the Users must change their passwords frequently option:
      • In the Password Lifetime field enter the number of days that the password will be good.
      • In the Expiration Warning field, enter the number of days before the password expires that the user will receive a warning message.
  4. In the Prohibited Passwords section:
    1. Click Add to add a prohibited password to the list.
    2. Click Import to open the Upload Prohibited Passwords Dialog Box. Use this dialog box to enter the location of an existing prohibited passwords list, and import the list.
  5. Click Save when finished.
