Attach Content Repository Files to Documents

You can attach files from a content repository to documents in Contract Management.

  1. Open a Contract Management document from a log window by clicking its Edit document icon.
  2. Click the Attachments tab.
  3. Click Attach from Repository to open the Attach Document Dialog Box, which you can use to attach a file from the content repository. This link does not display unless the administrator set the Contract Management content repository properties in the Administration Application to use a repository. See Configure the Content Management Version Document and Attachment Feature for more information.
  4. In the Attach Document dialog box:
    1. Find the document you want to attach and select it.
    2. Choose whether to copy or link to the selected document.
    3. Click OK when finished. The document will be listed on the Attachments tab.
