Use this dialog box to browse for files that you can copy or link to documents. You can search in the Oracle WebCenter Content Core Capabilities (WCCC) or Microsoft SharePoint repository for files that you can copy or link to documents. These documents are external to Contract Management, and are not part of the documents created in Contract Management. The documents you can access are based on the security assigned to them for the repository.

Note:

• If using the Oracle WCCC repository, a tree structure is built of all the files to which you have access.
• If using the Oracle WCCC repository, you cannot link an attachment associated with one Contract Management document to another Contract Management document.
• If using the SharePoint repository, you must specify the root node in the Primavera Administrator utility. For more information about this utility, see the installation guide for Oracle or MSSQL.

If you are using Oracle WCCC, you can also browse documents to which you have access in Contract Management. Your access is determined by the access template assigned to your user. Your user's access template can vary per project, so you might have access to documents in one project that you do not have access to in another.

Search in Contract Management root (only available for Oracle WCCC)

Use this option to search for documents in the Contract Management root. The application will search in all projects and modules to which you have access.

Search in entire repository (only available for Oracle WCCC)

Use this option to search the entire repository of documents in Oracle WCCC to which you have access.

Search

Use this field to search for an item.

Note: When using the Oracle WCCC repository, you can search for documents in the repository or in Contract Management.

File

The name of the document which you will be attaching. This field is only visible when you select the Search in Contract Management root option when using Oracle WCCC.

Group

The group containing the document you want to attach. This field is only visible when you select the Search in Contract Management root option when using Oracle WCCC.

Project

The project containing the document you want to attach. This field is only visible when you select the Search in Contract Management root option when using Oracle WCCC.

Module

The module containing the document you want to attach. This field is only visible when you select the Search in Contract Management root option when using Oracle WCCC.

Copy Selected Document

Select to copy a file from the content repository to the document you have open in Contract Management.

The file copy is listed on the Attachments tab of the document. A copy of the file is also available in the content repository, whether Microsoft SharePoint or Oracle WebCenter Content Core Capabilities (WCCC). You can access the file from Contract Management by clicking the file name or the icon beside the name.

Link to Selected Document

Select to create a link to a file in the content repository.

The link is created on the Attachments tab of the document you currently have open in Contract Management. A link is also created in the content repository, whether SharePoint or UCM. You can access the file by clicking its name.

How to access this dialog box:

From a document window click the Attachment tab and click Attach from Repository.

This will not display unless the administrator sets the Contract Management project content management properties to use the Repository. See Configure the Content Management Version Document and Attachment Feature for more information.
