Status Detail Dialog Box


Use this dialog box to Create Document Status Codes, such as Approved, Closed, or Rejected.

Acronym

Enter an acronym for the status, up to four characters. The status will appear in Status drop-down lists.

Description

A brief description of the item or service.

Type Name

Contract Management uses the types in this column to perform various functions. Select a status type from the drop-down list to correspond to the status acronym. You must have at least one of each status type of Closed, Approved, and Rejected.

Color

Select a color from the drop-down list to represent the status on graphs.

Move Below

From the drop-down list, choose the location below which you want to insert the new definition.

Note: Document Status codes defined here appear in all projects in the project database.

How to access this dialog box:

  1. Right-click on the top-level folder (All Projects), choose Dictionaries, and then choose Status.
  2. Click Add on the Status Dialog Box.
