The specification section codes are part of a standard coding system called MasterFormat/CSI Codes, which was developed by the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) and Construction Specifications Canada (CSC) to identify construction work components. This dialog box lists the codes.

Click to open the Specification Sections Detail Dialog Box to Add a Specification Section.

Organize Rows

Click to open the Organize Rows Dialog Box, in which you can set the order in which the codes appear in specification drop-down lists.

Section Value

This list contains the numeric CSI codes.

Description

This list contains a brief description of each specification code.

Note: To delete a spec section, click Delete corresponding to the appropriate item.

How to access this dialog box:

Right-click on the top-level folder (All Projects), choose Dictionaries, Specifications Sections.
