Use this dialog box to display a list of existing alerts by title, add alerts, or transfer alerts to another database.

Note: Alerts created here apply to all projects in the database.

Add

Click to open the Define Alerts New Alert or Define Alerts Edit Alert Dialog Box to Define a New Alert.

Transfer Alerts

Click to open the Transfer Alerts dialog box to transfer alerts to another database.

• Click edit from the list to open the Edit Alert dialog box to edit the alert.
• Click Delete corresponding to an alert to delete it.

Customize Refresh For Actions and Alerts

Click to open the Customize Actions and Alerts Refresh Dialog Box, where you can select options to globally exclude alerts and actions in projects marked Closed or Rejected from the refresh process. Depending on how many actions or alerts are associated with closed or rejected projects, selecting either of these options can reduce the amount of time required for the refresh process. Selecting either of these options also removes actions or alerts associated with closed or rejected projects from the Actions or Alerts log windows and Control Center objects.

How to access this dialog box:

Right-click on the top-level folder (All Projects) and choose Define Alerts.
