Click Browse, and choose the path and file name from which you want to restore a project, or manually enter a path and file name.
To Group
The name of the currently active database. This is the database to which you will restore the project.
Restore
Click to start the project restore process.
Notes:
There cannot be any users connected to this database through Contract Management.
A project cannot be restored into a database where the cost code definitions and custom fields are different in number or content (for example, if a custom field length does not match) from the backup project, unless the database has no cost code definitions or custom fields.
Users cannot log in to Contract Management until the restore process is complete.
Contract Management administrators have backup and restore rights. All other users have to be designated as Can Back Up Projects and Can Restore Projects. Even if they created the project, or are the project administrator, they do not automatically have these rights.
How to access this dialog box:
Right-click on the top-level folder (All Projects) and choose Single Project Restore.
