Use this dialog box to modify the hierarchy of your projects and folders in the Project View.

Title

The name of the view you have selected to modify. You can type a new name for the view in this field.

Options

Click to open the View Options Dialog Box, in which you can set how projects appear in the view.

New Folder

Click to add a new folder at the current level.

New Subfolder

Click to add a new subfolder within the selected folder.

Insert Project

Click to open the Insert Project Dialog Box, in which you can select projects to add to the selected folder.

Note: Insert Project does not add a new project. It creates a copy of the project you selected in the Insert Project dialog box. Contract Management then creates an icon with an arrow in it to indicate that the project is a copy (aliased).

Arrows

Use the arrows to move folders and projects around the view. For example, if you want to move a project from a subfolder to the top-level folder, use the left and up arrows until the project is exactly where you want it.

Rename

Click to rename an element.

To rename a folder, select it, click this, and type the new name.

Remove

Click to remove the item from the list.

• If you select an original project and click Remove, the project is moved to the default folder (the folder with a check mark in its icon).
• If you select a project that is copy (aliased) and click Remove, the copy is deleted.
• If you select a folder, it removes it from the view, though you cannot remove the default folder.

Hide

Click to hide a folder or project without removing it.

Click Unhide to make the item visible.

Notes:

• If you hide a folder, every item in it is hidden.
• You can’t unhide a folder within a hidden folder.

How to access this dialog box:

Right-click on the top-level folder (All Projects) and choose Administer Views, Modify.
