Use the Contract Management Administration Application to set up and maintain administrators, users, access templates, content management, report and form locations, and password settings for Contract Management.
Note: The default login name and password for the Contract Management Administration Application are EXPADMIN.
Add Access Templates:
An access template is a collection of security settings that you can assign to users quickly instead of having to assign access rights every time a user is added. An access template acts as a holder for security settings. Users can have a different access template assigned for each project, but only one access template can be assigned per project.
To create access templates, click Access Templates to open the Access Templates – Main Window window and then click Create New Template. Assign the new template a name and then copy the settings from another template or configure the settings for a new template.
Add Contract Management Users:
To add a new restricted Contract Management user that you can assign access rights to, click User Accounts to open the User Accounts – Main Window window. Click Create New User and assign the user a name. Copy the user information from an existing user or configure the settings for a new user.
Note: Be sure to tell users what their IDs and passwords are.
Add Contract Management Administrators:
To add a Contract Management administrator, click Administrator IDs. In the Administrator IDs Window window, click Add Administrator, enter a name, password, and language for the administrator and click Save.
Configure Content Management:
Click Content Management to open the Content Management Window. Use this window to configure the parameters for versioning documents and for attachment storage.
Configure the Server:
To configure the Contract Management server, click Server Configuration. In the Server Configuration Window window, you can configure the report, multi-project report, form, and letter template locations, as well as column width.
User Password Settings:
To set user password parameters, click User Password Settings. In the User Password Settings Dialog Box window, mark or clear the checkboxes as necessary. If you are using LDAP for user authentication, this function is not available.
