This dialog box enables you to select, preview, print, and save Contract Management data in a format that can then be imported into another application.
Reports can include information from more than one document, such as a list of submittal packages and their respective submittals. You can select an export report from those included with Contract Management, or you can use BI Publisher to create your own. When you use Export, the reports available to you are in a format specifically designed for transporting data into another project or different application.
Module
This field lists the Contract Management modules. When you select a module, Contract Management lists the reports for that module, if available. The reports in the EXPORT library contain headers and data, and are designed to be exported, whereas standard reports contain more information (for example, names and addresses), and are designed to be displayed. Reports designed to create files that can be imported into other applications are named r_export_reportname. Refer to the Contract Management User’s Guide for information on available reports.
Reports list
This area contains the report names. You can print a report directly, or preview it first.
How to access this dialog box:
Right-click on a project in the Project View and choose Export.
Or
Choose Export from the Select an action drop-down list on a log window.
