Copy User Access Dialog Box


Use this dialog box to copy existing Contract Management users and their access rights to a new project or template. Copying their access rights between projects in the same database greatly reduces the data entry effort, enabling you to create the project or template quickly. Select the users you want to copy from the left column and add them to the right column, and click OK.

Copy from

This list shows all users from the selected project or all projects.

Click browse to open the Select Project Dialog Box to choose the project from which to copy users' rights. Choose the users to copy, and click Add to move them to the Copy To list on the right. To copy all users, click Add All.

Copy to

This list shows the users that are currently in the destination project or projects as well as users that are being copied to the project.

To remove a user from the Copy To pane and put it back in the Copy From pane, click the user name, and then click Remove. To remove all users and put them back in the Copy From pane, click Remove All.

How to access this dialog box:

Right-click on a project in the Project View and click Copy User Access.

Or

  1. From the Project View, do one of the following:
    • Right-click on the top-level folder (All Projects) and select New Project.
    • Right-click on the Templates folder and select New Template.
  2. On either the Add Project Dialog Box or the Add Template Dialog Box Project Page, click the Users tab.

    Note: You will need to enter a Project Name and Title before clicking this tab.

  3. Click Copy Users.
