Delete a Contract

You cannot delete contracts unless your user privileges were set up to enable you to do so. You cannot delete any contracts (budgeted or committed) that are linked to one of the following documents, unless those documents are deleted or unlinked from the contract:

When you delete a contract, Contract Management also deletes the related Invoice documents for the contract, all Cost Worksheet references to the invoice, all Cost Worksheet references to the contract, and any issue links.

Materials delivery documents and Request for Information documents related to the contract remain intact.

To delete a contract:

If the contract is approved, you cannot delete it unless the approval is revoked.

  1. From the Contracts log window (Budgeted Contracts Log Window, Committed Contracts Log Window, or Contracts Log Window), click the underlined hyperlink for the document name to open the document you want to delete. Do not open the document in edit mode.
  2. From the Select an action drop-down list, choose Delete Document.
  3. Click Yes to confirm the delete.
